Work Philosophy

INTEGRITY

I believe that integrity is the foundation of any profession, but in the practice of law it is indispensable. Talk should never replace action when it comes to honesty and a moral compass.

BREADTH OF EXPERIENCE

Doing the same thing a thousand times may make you efficient at doing that task, but it does not make you better. Diverse experience allows us to think outside the box, or be more creative in recognizing and solving problems. We can learn from our experience if we are not afraid to make decisions and are willing to admit mistakes.

INNOVATION

Recognizing needs and being creative in satisfying those needs requires the ability to be a good listener and knowing that there probably wouldn’t still be a need if the same old approaches worked.

REPUTATION

Each of my clients is a tile in the mosaic of my reputation. Each client engagement is an opportunity to impact that mosaic – for better or worse. I cannot guarantee the outcome, but I can guarantee the workmanship.

“In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:6
